This study used latent class analysis to exploratory analyze the combination of background characteristics and suicide methods of those who died by suicide.

With the aim of strengthening basic knowledge that can contribute to suicide prevention, we conducted a comprehensive study of suicide methods and background information and extracted characteristic patterns.
