We are pleased to announce that the research we conducted with lead author Atsushi Kubo (Meiji University of Integrative Medicine) and other collaborators has been published in the journal Resuscitation (Elsevier).
The book is currently in press.
The journal is a top international journal in the field of emergency medicine and is ranked Q1 by SJR.
In this study, we use machine learning-generated data (synthetic data) based on the Utstein method.
We estimated the impact of early bystander AED use on a national scale on population levels through 2075.
As a result, if early AED access becomes widespread, approximately 235,000 deaths will be prevented over the next 45 years.
It was suggested that this could increase the number of survivors with favorable neurological outcomes by approximately 160,000.
Resuscitation is the official journal of the European Resuscitation Council (ERC)
We disseminate high-level research on acute care, including the pathogenesis of cardiac arrest, prevention, clinical resuscitation, education, and basic research.
I am honored to have been able to participate in this research as a co-author.
We will continue our research to improve outcomes after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest.
