We participated in the 9th Annual Academic Conference of the Japan Society for One Health Science, held at Teikyo University (Itabashi) on September 13, 2025.

The Society aims to bring together various fields, including human medicine, animal medicine including veterinary medicine, and environmental issues, in a school-like manner.

This was my first time attending this conference, and I was well aware that I was an outsider, but I wanted to interest even professors in fields that may seem unrelated to suicide prevention, so I presented a comprehensive discussion, particularly on the need to promote research by collecting laboratory data, and the interactions between animals, the environment, and human communities.

Title: "Forensic epidemiological study for new developments in suicide prevention: Analysis of the relationship between suicide methods and background factors and exploring the possibility of interdisciplinary collaboration"

We have received guidance from many professors up to now, and we are pleased to announce that our presentation has been selected for the Research Encouragement Award.

Thank you again.

We will continue to forge ahead.
